Want a quick craft that takes only a band saw and sander?
Cut books into the shape of your state or other shapes.

I hate seeing beautiful Readers Digests go to the land fill. I like trying to give them one more life. 48 books cut, sanded, marked for the boutique in one hour. If all sold, with commission taken out, that is $380 per hour! They only cost me .35 each to buy from a book sale.

Other ideas:
-fall and Christmas book stack decor
-risers by adding legs

No gorgeous vintage (but not rare) Readers Digest books were harmed in the making of this craft. LOL!

I tied the books together both directions and glued the floral to the ribbon. That way, if someone wants to take apart, the books are perfectly fine.

This is funny!

Went to change my cover photo and the witch hat ended up right over my head in the profile photo.

Actually, maybe a little rest. We just left for vacation for maybe 10 days. If you have any questions, please message. I will still be answering messages, designing, and painting new ornaments in the evenings when we get back to the motor home.
