Lammas Blessings
Traditionally celebrated August 1

There is a moment each year when the Earth quietly reminds us that nothing is meant to bloom forever.

Lammas marks the sacred threshold between the Summer Solstice and the Autumn Equinox, when the fields begin to turn from green to gold and the first harvest is gathered. It is the celebration of the Grain Mother, reminding us that every harvest asks for a sacred offering of compost as we harvest the nourishment from seeds we have grown. Not as loss, but as a return.

The old stories speak of John Barleycorn, the Sun King, who willingly gives his life back to the Earth through the grain so that life may continue. His sacrifice is not an ending. It is the mystery of becoming nourishment for something greater.

Are we not being asked to do the same?

We are the Earth. We are the harvest. We are the mystery.

As the Sun begins its descent, so too do we, not into darkness, but into the fertile depths where the Soul remembers what the mind has forgotten. The outward movement of the year begins to soften as the doorway to the inner world quietly opens. The ego gives way, and intuition begins to speak through feeling, dreams, and the silent language of the Soul.

To sacrifice means to make sacred.

Perhaps what is asking to be made sacred is not who you are, but who you no longer need to be.

What beliefs have carried you this far but cannot walk with you into the next season? What identities are ready to be returned to the great compost of life, becoming nourishment for what has yet to emerge?

Not everything we planted manifested in the way we imagined, yet nothing has been wasted. Every choice, every joy, every grief, and every ending has become medicine. The true harvest is not measured by what you have produced, but by the wisdom your Soul has gathered along the way.

Stand at this threshold with open hands.

Gather what nourishes your Soul.

Offer the rest back to the Earth.

Trust that what dissolves is already becoming fertile ground for the life that is quietly remembering itself through you.

🌑 Out of Bounds Cancer New Moon
July 14, 2026 • 2:43 AM PST
Can you feel it?
The life you have known no longer seems to fit, yet what is emerging cannot quite be named. We stand between what has been and what is becoming, and perhaps that is exactly where we are meant to be.
This Out of Bounds Cancer New Moon carries us beyond the ordinary and into a place where the heart remembers what the mind has forgotten.
Home is not simply a place. Home is a way of living.
Cancer reminds us that we were never meant to earn love through striving, overgiving or proving our worth. We have forgotten that belonging is our birthright. This New Moon gently asks us to remember.
Mercury retrograde in Cancer turns us inward while Jupiter in Leo stands beside this New Moon, expanding the remembrance that we are creators. Together they plant the seeds of a new beginning, one rooted in love rather than fear.
As the Moon creates tension with Uranus in Gemini and Neptune in Aries, we are invited beyond the familiar. Old stories begin dissolving while new possibilities quietly emerge. We may not yet understand where life is leading us, but perhaps we are not meant to.
We are simply being asked to trust.
To listen.
To feel.
Perhaps this is not the beginning of something new.
Perhaps it is the great remembering.
If you feel yourself standing at a threshold and would like to understand the greater cycles unfolding in your life, my What the F@k is Happening?* reading is designed to illuminate the wisdom behind change and reveal how these larger planetary cycles are guiding you back into alignment with your Soul's path. ✨ Two Expressions. One Heart.

For years, Trinity Herbals & Wellness Center has been a place to nourish the body through the wisdom of the Earth. The Cosmic Abode has become a place to nourish the Soul through the wisdom of the cosmos.

As my own journey has evolved, I've realized these were never separate paths. The Earth and the stars have always been speaking the same language.

As we enter this new chapter, these two expressions are coming together as one. While each will continue offering what makes them unique, they will now share one newsletter community, creating a space where the wisdom of the Earth, Soul and Sky can be experienced together.

Trinity Herbals will continue offering herbs, wellness, the Herb of the Month and natural living. The Cosmic Abode will continue sharing astrology, lunar transmissions, classes and readings.

Different expressions.

One vision.

One heart.

Thank you for walking this journey with me. I can't wait to continue growing together.

Another name for her is “fuga daemonum” meaning chase away demons, giving us protection as we see the truth of things and offers us the courage to stand in that truth. She is also called “sol terrestis” meaning Sun on Earth. It is said when we feel lost in the world St. John will find us and bring us home to ourselves. St. John’s wort can help us open to our psychic gifts by offering us the light we need to trust in our intuition and the convictions of our heart. She shows us where the shadows are, where we have given our own power away and thus what keeps us from being in the truth of who we are with confidence. Her light offers us the protection, confidence and strength to call back our power, what is rightfully ours. St. John’s Wort helps us clear out the fear around what it means to be the creator of our lives. This strengthens our capacity to live out our personal myth by allowing our visions and creations to manifest. She can help us see that we hold the ability and strength to see clearly and communicate to ourselves and the outside world our gifts and passions as we journey on the path of the Soul. Call upon her when you are seeking clarity, need strength or protection as she will ease any fear or frustrations and enable you to hear the song of our own. Her leaves have tiny littles holes that allow light to shine through them offering us the ability to see where our energy has been leaking. This quality she holds can offer us the light we need to seal these holes in our energetic field with light, protection and love.
