I've been out in the garden clipping fresh blooms and stocking the shop with new jewelry for tonight's Girls Night Out in the Cargo District Courtyard 💐a celebration of the incredible women-owned businesses that call the courtyard home.

For those of you who like to dip your dawgs in creeks, hunt for shells at low tide, lay on warm rocks like a lizard, tend to your garden barefoot, and stay outside until the streetlights come on...

We rounded up a few of our favorite summer companions… from locally made goods to well loved tools for reflection, adventure, and life outdoors.

Field tested by sunshine, saltwater, garden dirt, campfires, mosquitos, and a healthy amount of whimsy.

Mannnn Ky chopped off his curls and jetted off to the west coast and Ben is in the middle of the ocean filming fisherpeople catching marlins for millions of dollars.

Meanwhile, I slept in… twice!
And I spent the day saronging it in my backyard making jewelry. My aunts bug spray actual works! (Avail at Crafted Outpost 😜) My tomatoes plants are almost as tall as me! The blackberries and peppers are coming in! My art garden came back, but I didn’t fully trust that it would. I planted strawflowers on top of them in April just to be safe and now they’re battling for sunshine.

Maybe if I plant enough seeds I’ll not obsess over every single one?!

The earth is remarkably trustworthy.

I’m becoming more impressed by the rocks and seeds beneath my feet, and the quiet negotiation between roots, sun and rain.

Life just wants to live.
But give it some dang space.
