Almost done with this pair! I am in love with the mismatched style 😍 I had this idea floating in my head for the longest time and it felt so good to let it flow. What do you think? I’m thinking for Mother’s day I will offer a similar design with the flowers customized to represent the birth flowers of children/grandchildren. 💐

They will be available on my Etsy soon! 💕

1 down, 1 to go 😅 that’s the hard thing with earrings, is making the same thing twice. But it will be worth it 😍

I am gearing up to take orders! I just started my Etsy page! 🥳 I’ll put my page in the comments! Hopefully very soon I’ll have all kinds of ready to ship goodies on there! And then I am thinking I will take 1 or 2 customs per month!

Have a great weekend, everybody!

I just have to share this bouquet ornament with you all! This bouquet is so beyond gorgeous. It is so sultry, and I am just in love with the colors. The deep reds and dark greenery in contrast with the white roses and white wax flowers… chef’s kiss! 👌🏻♥️

Congratulations, Holli wand Jason! Wishing you both many years of happiness 🥂

Happy New Year, everyone!

I had the pleasure of sculpting this ornament as a very special momento for a very special accomplishment! I was contacted by my client Mandy, whose mother just wrote her own children’s book! How exciting?!

Mandy asked that the 2 main characters of the story be sculpted as an ornament. So this ornament features a bunny grandmother and granddaughter standing arm in arm. 💕Mandy sent me some reference photos from the book to use, and I was so excited to bring them to life! I had the idea to have them standing on a book, as if they hopped out of the story! I also added a little date to the “page” to recognize and celebrate the date of publishing. 🎊📚

As I was sculpting, my daughters were so intrigued by “the bunny humans” 😆 so we are definitely going to be reading this adorable, and not to mention very useful, children’s book that teaches about the importance of children knowing how and when to contact 911 in emergencies. If you want to check out this book, I will link it in the comments!

Thank you so much, Mandy, for supporting my art! I am so so happy that your mom loved the ornament. I hope it always serves as a sweet reminder of this very big accomplishment of hers 👏🏻

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday filled with lots of love and joy 🤍🤍🤍

I just wanted to share this cute little ornament that I made as a gift! This is Dee, a sweet little chihuahua with a lot of personality! 🐾 dogs are usually pretty easy for me to sculpt, but she was a bit of a challenge! I wrestled a bit with the shading around her eyes, but I’m so happy with how it turned out! I would love to figure out a way in the future to add whiskers. Something I will have to think about…

Now I’m going to go sip on some hot cocoa and try to clean up the Christmas explosion from yesterday 😂

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! I hope that the holiday was filled with so much love, and of course, good food. I am exci...

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! I hope that the holiday was filled with so much love, and of course, good food. I am excited to share my first bridal piece with you all in what feels like forever! 🤍🤍🤍 This ornament is definitely going down as one of my favorites.

This gorgeous bride had a beautiful bouquet featuring roses and dahlias. Dahlias are a favorite of mine, and sculpting them takes a steady hand and lots of patience. Each little petal and leaf is made with love! ✨

This couple celebrated 2 years married on October 8th. Congratulations Nick and Danielle! 🥂🎊 I hope hanging this memento on your Christmas tree in the many blessed years to come will remind you both of the abundant love and memories shared from your special day!

Etsy page coming soon! 🥰

Happy Sunday! ☀️ Just wanted to share a little something with you guys! These little Christmas cake earrings are so stinking cute. Just a little something I threw together for some local friends and family! What’s your favorite holiday treat?! As of this year I am going gluten free, so we will see how the holidays go for me 🤪

Hello out there! Shouting into the void! It’s been quite a while… If this post is finding its way to your feed 👋 good to see you again 😉

This page was previously Heart of Minerva, newly named Anavah Art. So why the change? Well if you would like to know the story keep reading…

It’s been about 2 years since I shared my art with you all on this page, and boy have I missed it. I’ve missed the creating, the sharing, and the getting to know and interact with the kind people (you!) who were gracious enough to take a moment out of their busy days to take a look at my art. 💕 I made so many friends over the years that I shared my art. How are you all doing?! I hope these past 2 years have treated you well. I hope you have made lots of happy memories and grown as a person! I certainly have evolved, too. I guess that’s one of the most beautiful things about this life - the twists and turns keep it interesting 😌

Over these past 2 years, I found faith in God. My relationship with Jesus has changed everything about my life, the way I view the world, my love for people has grown exponentially, and my heart is mended in so many ways. So why do I share that? Well, it’s got a lot to do with my decision to change my business name! Anavah is a Hebrew word with such a beautiful meaning. One of the pillars of my faith is humility. Anavah means just that, but the amazing thing about the Hebrew language is that every word has such artfully crafted meaning and depth. More than humility, it means “to occupy your God-given space in the world; to be aware of one's strengths and weaknesses without arrogance or self-deprecation, and to act in accordance with that understanding.” In the past, my art completely defined me. Now, my identity lies first and foremost as a child of God, with my art and love for creating being a gift from Him. He placed in me a passion to create which has brought so much joy to my life and given me the ability to share that joy with the world - truly a blessing!

I understand that not everyone shares the same faith as me, but please know that whether you have the same beliefs as me or not, that I would love to have you here and feel honored that you have allowed me to share my art with you. I know that scrolling is often littered with posts that create feelings of division, fear, anxiety, etc., but I hope that coming across a post of mine cuts through all of that and brings you a morsel of joy!

Here’s a little recap of some of my favorite pieces from before. I hope to share more of my art with you soon! Until then, much love to all of you! 💕
