There’s a BIG reason why doing custom work is my all-time favorite. ❤️

Don’t get me wrong, I have plenty of ideas to last a lifetime, but the drive to execute those ideas can be easy to lose sometimes when I’m just working through my own inspiration.

There is a lot of self-doubt that can creep its way in when there’s no collaboration; no one on the other side screaming “omg that is incredible!”.

Community is so important, friends.

There’s just something *extra* special about being able to bring an idea to life and (hopefully) make it into something even better than they hoped! 🥰

I’m actively working on translating this general idea into something a little more broad and accessible to everyone! Metal bookmarks have been ordered, charms are actively being designed/workshopped, it’s all coming along nicely. I can’t wait to show you 💕

I’m SO EXCITED to finally be getting back out into markets this fall! 🍂

September 26th - I’ll be heading down to Charleston SC for one of my absolute faves: Feminist Magic Market fall edition!! Spend some time in Park Circle with 100 amazing vendors, food/drink trucks, and the best vibes around!! 🥰🍁

October 10th - Come hang in Charlotte with me (and my sister!!!) for BOOKPALOOZA !!!! An entire stadium full of authors, artists, and lovers of all things bookish?!?! Say less! I’ll be happy if I don’t spend every dollar I make there 🤪 Check out their socials for all ticket/entry details! 🫶

October 25th - I’ll be back in Wilmington for Make Wilmington Weird Fear Fest hosted by City Gypsy Boutique !! We’ll be having a spooky good time, featuring local entertainment and a costume contest!! 👻

A bit of a smaller fall lineup than previous years, but these events are ✨ QUALITY ✨ (and I might add another one or two if I’m feeling bored 🤪)

Yeah, I know. It’s summer and the real feel outside is 107 degrees. But in my heart?? It’s F A L L and Halloween is right around the corner 👻

4 years of practicing, lots of trial and error, countless hours learning from videos from other makers and teaching myself, trying something 5 times until I finally figure it out… and I still have so much to learn!

Just because the starting point doesn’t look how you think it “should” doesn’t mean you won’t reach that point someday.

We all start somewhere. If there’s something you want to accomplish, keep pushing at it. You’ll get there. 💗
