Bob's Brittle

Bob's Brittle Homemade small batch peanut brittle made in Wilmington, NC. Luckily the methods and recipe were passed down to us before he went to Heaven in 2020.

My dad "Bob" made and gave away over 2,000 bags of his special peanut brittle between 2003-2018 to friends, family, business associates, church members, etc. Now, we offer this delicacy to the public, so even more people can enjoy this small batch goodness!

After family reunion nearby, I convinced Mama Rose Aman Swain and my sisters Sharon Swain Currin and Laurie Swain Bates to visit. Of course Mama figured out how she’s kin to everyone in there😂what a fun visit!

In the test kitchen this morning. I’m wondering what the Bob's Brittle fans would think about a “Tropical Brittle” with peanuts, macadamia nuts and toasted coconut? My taste buds say 💥 BAM but would appreciate feedback.

I know some say consistency is critical in production, but I’ve learned peanut brittle is a living creature that decides how it wants to turn out! It’s always tasty, but sometimes a pour is just magically beautiful. Maybe it’s a tribute to the maestro I learned it from to honor his passing 6 yrs ago😢😍
