⚠️ IMPORTANT OP-17 RELEASE EVENT INFORMATION ⚠️

We want to give everyone an important update regarding tomorrow’s OP-17 Release Event.

Currently, the event is capped at 32 players, with an additional 23 players on the waiting list. Unfortunately, our OP-17 allocation came in significantly lower than we expected.

Additionally, because of the recent ownership change at our new location, that store did not receive an OP-17 allocation. The location had not yet been registered for the release event before the ownership transition took place.

Because of the limited allocation, we’ve had to make a tough decision regarding the product we received.

Before anything else, we have pulled aside everything needed for:

Tomorrow’s 32-player Release Event
Event packs and prizing
Season prizing for BOTH Battle City Gym locations

After covering all of that, the amount of OP-17 remaining is very small.

Because of this, we will NOT be selling the remaining OP-17 boxes tomorrow. Instead, that product will be held to give our regular One Piece players who continue to support locals week after week an opportunity to purchase it.

We have already created a list of players based directly on our attendance reports from our local events, and that is the list we will be using. This isn't something we're deciding based on who asks first, who messages us, or who happens to be at the front of the line tomorrow. We're using actual attendance history to keep it as fair and objective as possible.

There are two big reasons behind this decision:

1️⃣ We believe in PLAY before anything else.
The players who consistently show up and help us build and maintain our One Piece communities at both locations are incredibly important to us.

2️⃣ We simply don't have enough product to distribute boxes fairly to all 32 players tomorrow.
Once the event, prizing, and season support are accounted for, there isn't enough remaining product to give every player the same opportunity. Rather than creating a situation where only a handful of people get boxes simply because they were first in line, we're choosing to prioritize our regular local players based on attendance.

We know this may disappoint some people, and we completely understand. We were expecting considerably more product than what ultimately arrived, and we wish we had enough for everyone.

At the same time, we're incredibly excited to have a completely full 32-player event tomorrow with another 23 people waiting to get in. That kind of support for One Piece is amazing, and we appreciate every single person who continues to play with us.

For us, PLAY comes first. Always. ❤️

We would like to take a second and thank everyone who has checked on us and offered to help! We will be back open today at noon! Wilmington took a beating (and a EF-1 tornado) but we all made it through luckily!

Lots of people asked what they could do to help and really there isn’t much we need except to make up for the few days we were closed! Want to help? Come in a buy something! That’s the biggest way anyone could help! We cannot thank everyone enough for all their continued support. We are blessed to be apart of such a wonderful community!

First off we have MTG’s newest set, THE HOBBIT! Lots of product but VERY low quantities of Collector Boosters! We have our pre release event tonight at 7pm!

Next we have the First Partner Series 3 Pokemon boxes which should help complete the full set of starter Pokemon for all you trainers out there!
