Bargain Box of Wilmington Bargain Box depends upon donations of gently used clothing and household goods from the public.

We practice effective recycling of all items donated, from valuable antiques to rags and buttons, in a clean, respectful boutique environment, giving them new life in an appropriate outreach project. Most of our donations are sold in the store, some are put in our “free bin”, a large bin of less than saleable clothing available free behind the store during store hours, and the rest is given to other programs that help clothe and care for the poor.

We had a beautiful second hand store that was a huge and wonderful Ministry for 22 yrs. It offered a welcoming, comfortable place to shop as well as offering inexpensive or free merchandise to many thousands of customers in need. My hope has always been that this ministry would continue on for many more years after my nearly 23rd of service, but sad to say that it will not. The store is NOW shut down and stands empty (see photos below). Many will miss this caring and loving ministry and we will miss our friends.
