Pacific fishing: “yeah there’s another one, oh there is 5 more.”

That’s where the AI comes in play— because after hours of absolutely nothing, the second you look away is usually when that one mark finally shows up 👀

Abaco, Bahamas 🌊

Rough ocean, new friends, and a solid test run for the AI system on the Furuno CSH8 out in the Atlantic. Conditions weren’t easy, but when the weather gave us a window… we made it count.

One of the best days I’ve ever had offshore — double slam + 4 whites with some of my best friends. Hard to beat days like that.

And another highlight… getting my fiancée her first blue marlin on her 30th birthday. Couldn’t have written that one any better. Thank you

All jokes aside — this was actually the whole point.

Somewhere along the way captains turned into full-time sonar watchers. Either you’re glued to the screen yourself, or you’ve got someone posted next to it all day hoping they don’t miss the one mark that mattered… while the real ocean is happening outside the screens.

I designed the AI so captains can be captains again. You can watch the spread, read the water, look for birds, current edges, color changes — and only go to the sonar when it actually matters. It gives you the heads-up instead of demanding your attention 24/7.

Kind of ironic… using the most advanced tech we’ve ever had just to rely less on the technology and more on fishing instinct — a lot closer to how the old school captains worked.

I’ve installed the system on a few different boats already and it’s working great so far. I won’t officially be offering it for sale until May, but if you’re curious reach out and I’ll send some info and videos so you can see what it’s capable of.

🔥 3rd Place out of 67 boats at the 2026 Pescadora Tournament in Quepos, Costa Rica 🇨🇷

Onboard Los Hermanos, we had two consistent days against some of the top boats in the world — and this group of ladies showed up ready to fish hard all the way to the final minute. 💪🎣

Huge credit to our crew for the preparation leading into the tournament, putting us on the fish each day, and getting them to bite when it mattered.

The AI program was a big part of our edge — instant heads up the second a mark hit the screen. Paired with the new auto-tilt feature on the Furuno CSH10, it lets you step off the screen and captain the boat the right way. In Costa Rica, fish show themselves on top — so being in the binoculars scanning the water while still protected by that sonar “beep” is a game changer. 🔊

When that tone hits, the whole crew dials in. No missed opportunities.

Proud of this team. On to the next one. 🏆

Cabo is a special place. 🇲🇽
Spent a few amazing days fishing on Right Rigger with — great people, nonstop laughs, and fish showing up everywhere. Got the Furuno CSH8 really dialed in, which made the fishing even better, then finished the trip with a run up to Mag Bay with some friends from home.

Also got to put the AI program through its paces in some legit fishing, and it’s shaping up exactly how I hoped. Planning to start selling the AI system toward the end of next month — this trip was a huge step in getting it there.

Cabo is a must if you love to offshore fish. If you’re heading down, hit up — you’ll catch fish and laugh all day. 🤙

Word on the street is a few companies are cooking up OMNI sonars for center consoles…
And the small boats are shadow-boxing in the driveway like, “Put me in coach.” 🤣
Tournament season might never be the same.
