It might sound trite, but our goal each day is to create our own slice of LEGO magic for our customers. Today the magic found us from one of our customers and we were happy to be able to step up!

Shelby Cash from Coastal Carolina Kittens visited with her friend Little Star. The kitty was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, also known as Wobbly Head Syndrome. Little Star has an underdeveloped cerebellum from birth and has trouble walking. She's always going to have the condition, but can learn to adapt. That's when Shelby called us. There are cat wheelchairs out there, but they're expensive. Someone told Shelby to consider LEGO technic to build one.

Our employee Ryan was up to the challenge, crafting a custom made set of wheels for Little Star today. After a few adjustments, we're happy to report Little Star took some steps with her new wheelchair. Way to go Ryan and thank you to Shelby for brightening our day!

For those who don't, you have my pity. For those that DO, shake off the rust n dust!! (haha 'cause we're old now) This Saturday we are gonna hold a little rousing competition!!! The Brick House Galaga Battle for Charity!!! For a minimum donation of 5 Dollars you get three tries to become the claimer of the high score! The more you donate the more you can play! From open until close anyone can come in and test their skills against some of iLM's best! At the end of the day the holder of the high score wins a $50 gift card to Bricks and Minifigs of Wilmington!!!
ALL proceeds go to the Charity picked by our staff. Sleep in Heavenly Peace. A lovely group who make beds for children who need them! The world could use a little more of that kinda love, don't you agree?

So come show some support. Drop love, not bombs.. unless its on the competition!!! Saturday, July 11th from 10am until 8pm. Will you save the galaxy from the Aliens?
