"French for powder puff", the hospitality of the owner… (and staff) is at least half the reason to visit.

“French for powder puff and pronounced ou-pet, this quaint addition to the Wilmington suburbs has been more than well received. The hospitality of the owner Cristi Miller… (and staff) is at least half the reason to visit; the other 50 percent lies in the shop’s impeccable array of brands that are hard to come by…” - Lucky Magazine

A premier luxury cosmetics boutique, Houppette specializes in some of the industry’s most sought-after makeup, skincare, fragrance, and bath & body products in the industry. Some of our favorite brands include Natura Bisse, Laura Mercier, Jane Iredale, Skinceuticals, Tata Harper, Patyka, and Cire Trudon just to name a few. Fab accessories, lingerie, and loungewear round out our fun and girly selection. Houppette girls offer expert skincare and makeup consultations tailored to your own personal style and beauty preferences to help you look your best every day, and are more than happy to provide professional makeup applications for weddings and all special occasions. In September of 2018, Houppette launched our spa with services that include the Hydrafacial, facial protocols with our fabulous brands, brow-shaping, and red light therapy.
