Battle of the machines over here, but I HAVE SUCCESS!! 🙌🧵✨

After lots of trial and error, I learned how to appliqué over the damaged shirt and save it! 🙌 Then I started fresh on another polo and had my first successful embroidery from start to finish! 🎉

Are they perfect? Nope. But I learned SO much, and I’m pretty proud of these two! 💙🍎✏️

Another new machine! 🧵✨

My amazingly crafty sister-in-law handed this embroidery machine down to me a few years ago, but I was SO intimidated by it that it’s been sitting in my craft space ever since. 😂

With Henry starting kindergarten this week, I decided it was finally time to try it out. Because of course I thought, “I can learn embroidery in a day and make him some cute polos for school, right?!” 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

I’m definitely learning, and I’m loving having another new way to create, but let’s just say there will be LOTS more practice and trial and error before I’m ready to offer embroidery through The Pink Shoelace Shop!
