We operate out of Coosa Valley Milling and have earned a reputation for care and attention to detail, nationally. We now mill some of the most delicious cornmeal, grits and polenta products available in the United States. We also sell hearty rolled oats, golden flax seed, popcorn, hush puppy and fish batter mix, and more! Our products are bagged and sealed with love and shipped from coast to coast to offer you the finest quality milled products, no matter where you are! We hear you! We are available at the Pepper Place Farmers Market every other Saturday (for over 10 years!) 🚨 We're Hiring! Operations & Fulfillment Assistant 🚨

McEwen & Sons is looking for a dependable, organized person to join our team in Wilsonville, AL.

This is a part-time position (8–12 hours per week) that's perfect for someone who enjoys staying organized, paying attention to details, and helping keep a growing business running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:
• Preparing customer and wholesale orders for shipment
• Printing and applying product labels
• Keeping packaging and shipping supplies stocked
• Creating invoices for wholesale orders
• Coordinating with our production team
• Making sure orders are accurate and ready for UPS/USPS pickup

We're looking for someone who is:
✅ Organized
✅ Reliable
✅ Detail-oriented
✅ Comfortable using a computer and learning new systems

Pay: competitive, based on experience and qualifications.

This weekend, Fred Hunter's Alabama will take us to the small community of Wilsonville in Shelby County. He'll introduce you to McEwen & Sons, where you'll learn how grits are ground.

We have had a very busy month at McEwen & Sons! Frank Lester McEwen III was born April 28, 2026 to Frank Jr. and Madelyn McEwen! Harrison Hartsfield McEwen was born May 7, 2026 to Luke and Erin McEwen and is a long awaited little brother to Sheppard McEwen!
