We always expect fireworks in the sky. But have you ever seen this? The children's museum in Indianapolis has the beautiful art exhibit with hand blown glass that is appropriately named "Fireworks of Glass". Just another great example of inspiration 🎆

Yesterday was horrible for so many. We watched the live feed as it rolled up to Knox and other nearby towns. Praying for safety for all. Lake Village was deeply effected and sadly lives lost.

ATTENTION from the TOWN OF WINAMAC: We received the following notice from the Town of Winamac on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026❄️:

"Due to the forecasted extreme cold weather, the Town of Winamac is issuing a system-wide "Freeze Warning." It is recommended that all water and sewer customers, residential and commercial, leave their water run at a cold water faucet located inside the home or business until the town announces a stop to the Freeze Warning. The water should run in a small stream, the size of a toothpick.

If the weather warms to above freezing, DO NOT shut the water off! Leave it run. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the town office at 574-946-3451.
