There has been an update on the availability of the premium edition of Dan Abnett’s latest novel, Hive. The in-store only release of this book has been canceled this weekend. Instead, we’ll be making two versions of the book available on Warhammer.com (and at our in-store order point) from this Saturday for a limited time. See you soon.

Another year in the books, and what a year it was.

8 years is a long time and Warhammer Wi******er just finished its 8th year of business. From its humble beginnings in 2018 right before the launch of the second edition of Age of Sigmar to right before the launch of 11th edition of Warhammer 40,000 the store has seen tons of amazing things.

Build and Paint classes. Gaming and strategy workshops for our games. New game launches and major updates. Campaigns, Painting Competitions, Holiday parties, and a handful of birthday parties. The store has seen almost everything. And at the heart of all of those events and occasions one thing remained consistent, and that's you guys.

Warhammer is a hobby unlike any other, but at its heart it is social. Warhammer wants to be shared and enjoyed, and the community in Warhammer Wi******er is second to none. From the very beginning when I was growing the store in its infancy to present day with a ton of people participating in our in store activities you guys show up again and again and show that Warhammer is about community.

All of the above to say, it doesn't matter if it is year 8 or 800, YOU the community of Warhammer Wi******er are what continue to impress and inspire me. You folks with your love and passion for these amazing universes, we all love and want to share, always leave me in awe.

So as we close the chapter of year 8 and start year 9 I have a small favor to ask. Keep being amazing. Keep inviting people to join our worlds. Keep growing and developing in the hobby. And keep being amazing.
