🍂 Friday Self-Care Reminder

Self-care is more than skincare. It’s caring for your body, your mind, and the way you speak to yourself. 🤎

As the week comes to an end, give yourself permission to slow down.

You don’t have to earn rest.
You don’t have to finish everything today.
And taking care of yourself doesn’t have to mean an elaborate routine.

Sometimes self-care is simply noticing what you need. 🌿

🍂 CARE FOR YOUR BODY
Drink some water.
Eat something that makes you feel nourished.
Stretch your body and release some of the tension you’ve been carrying.
Take a walk and breathe in the fresh air.
Take a warm shower or bath and actually enjoy it instead of rushing through it.
Put on your favorite pajamas.
Turn off the alarm when you can and give your body the rest it has been asking for.

🤎 CARE FOR YOUR MIND
Put your phone down for a little while.
Take a break from the constant scrolling and notifications.
Write down three things you’re grateful for.
Read a few pages of a book.
Listen to music that makes you feel good.
Take a few slow, deep breaths.
Let go of something you cannot control today.

☕ CREATE LITTLE MOMENTS OF COMFORT
Light a candle.
Make your favorite tea or coffee.
Wrap yourself in a cozy blanket.
Use the beautiful soap you’ve been “saving.” 😉
Enjoy the changing season.
Do something simply because it brings you joy.

And most importantly…

Speak to yourself with the same patience and kindness you so easily give to the people you love.

You are allowed to slow down.
You are allowed to say no.
You are allowed to rest without feeling guilty.
You are allowed to have an imperfect day.
You are allowed to take care of YOU. 🤎

This weekend, choose at least one little thing for your body and one little thing for your mind.

Because self-care isn’t selfish.
