We got our hands on some old stock Biggs Jasper! As soon as I have time, it will be going up on our Etsy along with about 100 other slabs 😅. This is a beautiful, highly solicited Jasper that takes a wonderful polish, and that patterning is absolutely stunning 😍

New to the Etsy shop this week…Iron Buffalo! This material comes out of Nevada, in the same area as turquoise and white buffalo materials. Iron Buffalo is actually a hard brecciated chert with iron-stained dolomite webbing through the chert. This creates a stunning, high contrast material that will polish up great!

New to our shop this week is Piranha Agate from Brazil! Take your run-of-the-mill Brazilian Agate and add some nice deep colors and distinct color separation, and viola! We have limited availability of this material, so be sure to check it out while it's there!

Sodalite has been a staple around here since we got our first cabbing machine. Those dark blues, sometimes chatoyant, sometimes with white lines going through it… but this variation is new to us! Check out that cool webbing going through this slab, and it also has some pockets of chatoyance! It polishes up great, and a few slabs will be listed in our Etsy shop tomorrow (November 11). Check them out!

Oh, wow, we're slow to update our Facebook! We've got 66 new listings up on our Etsy shop today, including a couple of groovy-looking pieces of Fordite! The other new material this week is Red Picante agate from Durango, Mexico! I'm sure you can figure out which is which from these pictures 😉 We've got a lot of new raw material in the pipeline, it just has be introduced to our saw before we're ready to list it 😁 Etsy link is in the comments!

More new material! This week, we’ve added some more material from Sonora, Mexico: a chrysocolla malachite mix! This material is well silicated and will polish up great! We’ve also added Spurrite/Stomotolite (the purple one 😍) which is a calcium silicate and at a 5 on the mohs scale, polishes up quick! We also have a few smaller slabs of Blue Mustang picture jasper, mined from Oregon.
We also cut into some new Rosetta Lace material, and it is so much nicer than the previous material we had gotten five years ago…
