More than 200 teenage mountain bikers are expected to compete in Leland this weekend in the championship race of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association.

Thanks everyone for your interest in this event. We have been supported by great sponsors and volunteers and have been blessed to have so many riders participate in years past. We have decided to focus our resources on the NC NICA event kicking off next spring right here at BNP and therefore will not host the Brunswick Brawl race this fall.
Be on the lookout for volunteer opportunities to improve the trail this winter and for the actual event.

The Cape Fear Regional Bicycle Plan Open House will take place today, Tuesday, March 15th from 3pm to 7pm at Leland Town Hall, Cape Fear Room, 102 Town Hall Drive, Leland, NC 28451. All members of the public are encouraged to drop by (anytime between 3-7pm) to learn about the plan and provide input.

ATTENTION MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS in the WILMINGTON/LELAND AREA!

North Carolina Interscholastic Cycling League is filming for a state-wide promotional video and looking for several volunteer student riders open to being filmed while riding the trails THIS Saturday, January 16th, 9am at Brunswick Nature Park in Leland, NC [2601 River Rd SE, Winnabow, NC 28479].

Mountain bike and helmet required. Meet
at 9am at the park's large shelter.
