If your makeup has disappeared by lunchtime, a few small changes can help it last much longer.

Try slightly softer shades so you can use a little more product without the finished look feeling too heavy.

Skip the lip gloss when longevity matters. It may look beautiful when you first put it on, but it’s one of the first things to disappear.

And most importantly, give your makeup a little more time. If your entire routine takes two minutes, you probably haven’t applied enough product or given each step enough attention to last all day.

Take 5 to 7 minutes instead, and your makeup could carry you from morning well into the evening.
