Our August Book Club pick is The River Is Waiting by Wally Lamb.

A heartbreaking and hopeful novel, it follows a young father whose life is shattered by an unimaginable tragedy. As he serves time in prison, he must confront grief, guilt, and the difficult path toward redemption and forgiveness.

We’ll meet Monday, August 31st at 5:00 PM at Jet Fuel Coffee in Winnsboro for what is sure to be a meaningful discussion.
