Kat's Crochet and Crafts Greetings! I'm Kat. I love to crochet and make things. I really want to make a difference with my cr She would tell me stories and wind tails as she wound yarn.

My great grandmother taught me to crochet when I was 10 years old. At the time I had no idea how much the craft would come to mean to me. We would watch game shows or the news and stitch away for hours. Those are some of my dearest memories. She died at 90 when I was 3 months pregnant with my first child. Crocheting brought her back to me. Every item I make is an item she makes through me, her legacy. When I sit with that hook in my hand I can feel her hands guiding mine, and can hear her stories and her voice. That is why I crochet. I want to be able to spread that inner peace by creating and crafting and reaching out. This seemed to be a great way to do so.
