Reynolda Rabbit is hopping back!

Our fresh hops have made the journey from Reynolda Gardens to Fiddlin' Fish Brewing Company, where they’ve been brewed into a hazy IPA. It is Fiddlin’ Fish’s only beer made with fresh hops, making this local collaboration one to taste!

This limited run launches Thursday, Sept. 24. 🍺

Come raise a glass to garden-grown hops and local craft brewing!

Meet the voices bringing Chimes of Freedom to life.⁠

We’re thrilled to welcome Joshuah Brian Campbell and Joseph Terrell as the featured performers for "Chimes of Freedom: Folk Singers & Fellow Travelers." "Chimes of Freedom" is a special performance series inspired by the anthems that united the movement for Civil Rights in the 1960s, which is the subject of the Danny Lyon’s "Flash Point" exhibition, opening on September 17.⁠
⁠
Joshuah Brian Campbell and Joseph Terrell will interpret the songs made famous by Harry Belafonte and Bob Dylan. Campbell, an Oscar- and Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and musician, will bring his powerful blend of Gospel, Soul and Southern musical traditions to the stage. ⁠Terrell, a singer, songwriter, and frontman of the indie-folk quartet Mipso, will bring fresh urgency to the songs that voiced the hopes of a generation.

Together with "Flash Point" co-curator and Betsy Main Babcock Deputy Director Phil Archer, Campbell and Terrell will weave music, storytelling and history together to explore a pivotal moment when artists, musicians and activists joined together in a shared pursuit of social change.⁠

Have you noticed the red blooms along Reynolda’s main drive?⁠

Those striking, spiky flowers are Lycoris radiata, commonly known as spider lilies, naked ladies or hurricane lilies. Each September, they emerge on tall, single stalks, adding a vibrant burst of red to the landscape.⁠

Young Explorers continues this September with five upcoming hands-on adventures designed to help young naturalists discover the world around them.

Designed for kids ages 2-5 and their caregivers, each session includes close-up exploration, creative activities, a new “badge” to earn and a field guide to take home!

Reynolda recently welcomed newly appointed Wake Forest University President Dr. Peter Rodriguez for his first visit since assuming office on July 1.

Dr. Rodriguez spent the afternoon exploring works in the museum’s permanent collection with Reynolda House founder Barbara Babcock Millhouse and Allison Perkins, Wake Forest University Associate Provost for Reynolda House and Reynolda Gardens.

As an integral part of WFU, Reynolda brings together art, history, gardens, and education in a place that has been part of the university’s story for generations. We were pleased to welcome Dr. Rodriguez and introduce him to more of the people, places, and collections that make Reynolda such a special part of Wake Forest.

We’re excited for another year of connecting and collaborating with the students, faculty, and staff at Wake Forest.
