Tropical storm makes 2nd in southeast . For our texan friends may god be with u and god speed. Despite the shear bertha never gave up kept fighting. Last night we probably had a brief hurricane but will never know since we didn't have recon. Conditions will slowly improve as bertha starts to dissipates. Interesting tho bertha account for 2 Ace points.

Looking at convection really firing with cold tops even -80C in there supporting intensification tonight and a ASCAT pass shows 50-60mph winds multiple buyous reporting the same unfortunately we don't have recon in NOAA NWS National Hurricane Center. Bertha is definitely Looking good best she's looked. With the outflow shear is definitely less and bertha is taking advantage

Time to talk impacts, will have impacts storm surge will be 1-2 ft in and 2-4ft in south east . Paired with 1-2 inches of rain and locally higher amounts we have a slight risk or flash flooding and potential for Tornatic activity. Remember hide from the wind run from the water and turn around don't drown.

Satélite imagery of south side well organized but the north side exposed due to shear no surprise despite that system able to have intensification. However the center is trying to get under the convection if it can intensification will continue.
