A few weeks ago, one of our card game players Willie Smith unexpectedly passed away. He loved playing card games like Magic the Gathering, Gundam and others. He was always helping new players and sharing his love of the games. Just one of the nicest persons you could ever meet. So on Saturday September 12th, we are organizing an event in his honor. Card games all day long! We plan on a MTG Hobbit booster draft ($25 entry, 8 person max, 3 rounds), MTG Marvel Superheroes jumpstart tournament ($15 entry, 8 person max, 3 rounds), a Gundam and Pokemon TCG tournament. Prizes will be given out and all money taken in will be given to his family. Donations will be gladly accepted. There will be space for open play all day for any card game. We are working on a time schedule for everything and several other details which we’ll post in a few days.
Also, Friday September 11th will be our usual MTG Commander night but and are working on something for that too.

We will have the new Starcraft Miniature game in early next week. I didnt order much but if you're interested, please let us know. We can always order more. Took a few photos of some of the painted figures at Gen Con a few weeks ago. Looks really cool !

Here is a bit more information about the Painting Competition we are holding tomorrow on the 18th.

Everyone will get a model from the Guard box made by Wargames Atlantic. They have a mix of weapons, armor, cloth, skin and are already primed grey.

You are allowed to bring your own paints, brushes, handles, and the like in the spirit of making things more competitive (but no airbrushes).

Please note that bases are also expected to be finished properly (not just painted black or anything of that sort).

It'll start promptly at 1:00 and end at 4:00. Good luck!
