Hello, a few recently framed pictures we have completed for you to have a look at.
As usual things slow down at the old frame shop in the summer. Which is ok with us. It gives us a chance to get out and enjoy some of that summer sun and warmer temperatures.
But like magic as we get to the end of August orders make their way into the shop. So once again it’s time to put those lazy and relaxing summer days behind us and get back to putting those hours into the shop and our framing projects.

Hello and Good Day To You, a few photos we matted
and framed for a World War II history buff.
As we know it was supposed to be the war to end wars. But as we now know that hasn’t happened.
What I do know is we can never forget the brave men and women who fought this war.
They are truly the ones who shaped and allowed us to have the freedom and life’s we live here in the United States of America.
Can You Imagine If People Would Give Peace A Chance. What A Wonderful World It Would Be ✌️

Good Day To You, a Hermes scarf we just framed.
Scarfs are definitely not our favorite pieces to frame. They definitely fall under the category of project to do.
But we are always up to the challenge of framing whatever comes into the shop.
This was a tough one because the customer wanted it floated on a white mat with the edges of the scarf showing. Normally we stretch it over the edge of a foam board to get it all even and all the bumps and creases out. This piece we had to tack the top with small stitch’s and let it hang freely.
Then we framed it with conservation u v glass with quarter inch spacer on the glass so it wouldn’t press on the scarf. The final touch was a beautiful gold frame.
Lots of times you do a framing project and you don’t get any feedback from the customer and you wonder how they liked it.
From the review we received from this customer he
obviously liked it.
