The first climb of the day.
100 ft stainless steel spire atop a 34 story building. Top of pole is 531 ft from the street. I changed out the lights.

250 years of America, and Milford showed up for every bit of it.

We were honored to be part of the Milford 250th parade this year. Flags flying, streets packed, and the kind of energy you only get when a whole town comes out together.

This is why we do what we do. Not just building and installing flagpoles, but being part of the communities that fly them.

Happy 250th, America. And thank you, Milford. 🦅

FPE in downtown Milford for the 4th of July parade!

We had a great time handing out flags and talking to everyone during the parade.

250 years ago, a handful of colonies with no army to speak of and no guarantee of winning bet everything on an idea: that people could govern themselves.

They didn't have the money. They didn't have the odds. What they had was conviction, and enough of it to sign their names to a document that laid the foundation for the world we live in today.

Since then, that idea has been tested more times than anyone can count, through wars, through division, through moments where it looked like it might not hold. It held anyway.

Today, on the 250th anniversary of that decision, take a second before the fireworks start. Not for the flag itself, but for what it took to earn the right to fly it.
