EBD was officially established in 2012 when I quit my teaching job to do this full time, but I've been lettering and painting projects for most of my life. Seriously -- for almost 30 years I've been doing lettering projects for other people!!! It's a fun adventure - I really enjoy growing in my talent, learning new stuff, and coming up with new projects. (I always have an open ear for any of your ideas, too!!)

I'm so glad that I get to use the gifts that the Good Lord gave me to be a blessing to all of you!

I have been overwhelmed at the thought of learning a new thing (Canva), sooo I’ve been putting it off. It’s necessary though, because a big project is ahead + outsourcing isn’t an option.

Last week, I learned about on the . I was pretty intrigued + downloaded it. While staring at my to-do list that afternoon, I thought, “let’s work smarter, not harder, eb.” — So I asked Claude if it was proficient in Canva + could teach me how to do a very specific project. When it responded confidently, I decided I would try one month of Claude… lean in and just see what all we can accomplish. 😌

When I tell you that I was locked in last night working on this, I mean - blue light glasses, at my desktop (the only logical place for important projects), jotting notes, and feeling like a champ. NOW, could I finagle my way through to probably figure it out enough to call it good? More than likely, yes. Would it take me wayyy longer?? Also yes. Claude knew the things, helped me troubleshoot, and even had a bit of sympathy when I accidentally went rogue, got too confident, messed up and had to start over. Ha! 🤪

Anyway, point # 1 is — I’m trying a new thing and I think it’s working. I’m far from done, but I’m extremely pleased with the progress. 💪🏼

And point # 2 – why did no one told me how awesome Claude is?!? I know this sounds like an ad, but I swear it’s just me sharing what I’m learning as a solo small business girl. 💃🏻
