🚨 SCAM ALERT – DON’T FALL FOR IT! 🚨

The Camden County Sheriff’s Office has received reports of scammers calling residents and pretending to be deputies & investigators with our agency.

These callers may claim you have a warrant, missed jury duty, owe a fine, or need to make a payment to avoid being arrested.

𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫: 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬.

The Sheriff’s Office will never call you demanding money, gift cards, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, or payment over the phone. We will also never tell you to meet us somewhere to “clear up” a warrant by paying a fine.

If you receive one of these calls, hang up. Do not send money. Do not provide personal information.

And remember… if we actually need to pick you up, we are not calling first to give you a payment plan. We will come get you. 🚔🙂

For storm clean up, Camden County MSW and C&D Landfills are open extended hours, today, Saturday, October 12, 2024. Both sites, located on GA Hwy 110 are open until 3:00 p.m.

⚠ Camden County RESIDENTS can take their vegetative debris to the C&D Landfill located on GA Hwy 110 in extreme SW Camden County. Please note that there is NO CHARGE for residential yard debris, but residents must weigh in and out.
⚠The Old Still Yard Waste Site will be closed to the public until further notice.
