Local author Carolyn McBride will be at our store this Saturday for a signing! 🥳 Come meet Carolyn and grab a signed copy! 🤗

Carolyn McBride grew up in Northern Virginia and writes contemporary women’s fiction in which the natural world is more than a backdrop. Drawing on her past as an editor and columnist for National Geographic Traveler, she weaves her deep love for travel and coastal ecology into her novels. Carolyn is a graduate of the College of William and Mary, holds a master’s degree in fiction writing from Lindenwood University, and serves as president of the Northern Virginia Writers Club, where she loves helping fellow writers find their voices. When the seasons change, she and her neuroscientist husband migrate between Belmont Bay and South Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway, accompanied by a wildly spoiled boxer and a cat who rules them all.
