🌿 Right plant, right place!
We spotted this mature Hydrangea paniculata while out in the landscape, and it’s a great reminder to always consider a plant’s full mature size before deciding where it goes.
We often hear, “I’ll put it in the front yard and just trim it once a year.” But vigorous growers can quickly become more maintenance than expected, especially when yearly pruning gets skipped. There are plenty of smaller paniculata varieties available if you’re working with a tighter space.
Not sure what will work in your yard? Stop by the garden center and ask us! We’re always happy to help you choose a plant that will still fit its space years from now. 🌱
