Last week, I had my last photography class. I was honored to be selected with the best Black & White photograph and had a complimentary framing as a result. This photograph is a reminder of the fire I’ve built within myself. It reflects the resilience I’ve learned to honor, the strength that has shaped me, and the Eternal Flame I know no one could ever put out.

I have learned so much taking these courses through Midwest Photography Workshops.

I’m very grateful for the opportunity and to have another creative outlet.

If you are looking to pursue something, but haven’t taken that leap, take this as your sign.

This is one of the pieces I’m most excited to share. The idea came to me after finally accepting that someone I once imagined being close to just isn’t good for me to be around. I was listening to Dandelion when I had this sudden moment of clarity, and the entire image appeared in my mind at once.

Sometimes people see you as beautiful and unique. Other times, they see you as a w**d. You can’t control how others choose to view you, but you can choose to stay close to the ones who recognize your beauty and help you grow.
