Slate-Lite has been active in the market since 2002 and is meanwhile located in more than 35 countries all over the world. The product was invented by accident. In the process of repairing a damaged slate tabletop, Gernot Ehrlich discovered that the carrier retained a thin veneer of slate when peeled away from the original slate tiles. It presented the same effect as normal slate, only it was flexible and light-weight. We have a strong distribution network that is equipped with the “know-how” to market this unique product.
