Our Romance Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of the month, and their October read is Grim Tidings, the second book in the Ghosted series by #1 New York Times bestselling author B.K. Borison.

At Read Between The Lynes you can order your Nordskov cold coffee at the counter, or you can grab a can from our cooler. If you order at the counter we’ll serve it poured into a 16 oz. cup with ice. We’re welcoming author Jarrett Dapier to Read Between The Lynes on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. for an event in anticipation of Banned Books Week (October 4–10, 2026).

Dapier, author of Wake Now in the Fire, will be in conversation with local author Kelly Jensen. Dapier is a Chicago-area librarian and the recipient of the John Phillip Immroth Award from the American Library Association's Intellectual Freedom Round Table for his work exposing book censorship in the Chicago Public Schools. Jensen is an Editor at Book Riot. She covers all things young adult literature and has written about censorship for nearly ten years. She is the author of three critically-acclaimed and award-winning anthologies for young adults.
