My Toby Boy was a fighter.
Six weeks before my Scarly Girl went to heaven, Toby faced his own battle — a mast cell tumor that tried to take him from me. But my sweet boy made it through. He survived. He fought with everything he had, and God carried us through every terrifying moment.

Two years ago, when my sweet Scarly Girl went to heaven at 18 years old, my heart broke in a way I still feel today. Losing her was one of the hardest moments of my life… and yet, in the middle of that pain, God kept whispering the same words to my soul:
