A girl walks into a thrift store…

She spots a gorgeous pearl necklace.

Her brain immediately goes:
✨ “This is either worth $8… or it’s funding my next vacation.”

Cue the internal debate:

“Are these cultured pearls?”
“Are they real?”
“Is that clasp sterling silver?”
“Are those tiny diamonds… or just really ambitious rhinestones?”

Meanwhile, I’m over here doing a full episode of Antiques Roadshow in aisle 7 while trying to look casual. 😂

The thrill of thrifting is never knowing if you just found costume jewelry… or accidentally rescued someone’s heirloom for the price of a drive-thru lunch.

I drove north with a truckload of treasures for my friend at Cabin Lane Vintage for the Luck at Spring Market… which obviously meant I could NOT come home with an empty truck. 🚚✨

There’s just something wrong about driving all that way and returning home empty-handed. Honestly, I think somebody would take my picker card away from me if I did that. 😉

So from Ohio through West Virginia and Virginia, the treasure hunt officially continued. Antique malls, thrift stores, estate sales, roadside stops, vintage shops, and hidden little places I almost drove right past somehow all ended up on the route.

And of course… the truck slowly started filling back up with a little bit of this and a little bit of that. 🛍️

Treasures for the house.
Fun finds for family & friends.
Unique goodies for the eBay store.
And vintage gems headed to the Self-Aware Vintage booth. ✨

There’s just nothing better than the thrill of the hunt, the back roads, the small towns, and finding pieces with stories still left to tell. Now it’s time to unpack it all and share the adventure with you! ❤️
