Thanks for joining us tonight! Together we made beef empanadas and shrimp quesadillas along with some fresh pico de gallo. It was a fantastic group as we braved intermittent power outages with flickering lights and no electricity to parts of the shop. The sunset was spectacular and a rainbow 🌈 over our class! Unfortunately, with the outages at the shop there’s no iclouding…I can’t share the pics tonight. Be safe out there my friends! 😘

Worked hard today picking the garden, gathering herbs to dry, started fire cider, making our bread and pasta. Then I found beef flanks (10-15lbs each) on sale and I decided to make ground beef 🥩…I forgot what real ground beef looked and smelled like with no ammonium hydroxide(banned in most countries) turning scraps into pink slime. It’s a better ground beef 🥩 that’s healthier and less expensive. A little work goes a long way. 👬
