When a funeral delivery takes you just a little outside your usual route to Holden on a Sunday 🌸 you turn it into a day trip. Stopped at an antique shop and... surprise! Another hurricane lamp followed me home. Pretty sure this counts as an "unexplainable addiction" at this point 🤣 Thankfully I've got the perfect spot in the shop to display my ever-growing collection.

Let me introduce Matilda...our longest, most dramatic, needy, high maintenance resident. Our lovely Matilda is a peace lilly who, in the right pot is the easiest going, super simple to take care of plant you could ask for. Normally very low matinence, she has unfortunately outgrown her nursery pot and is need of a bigger, prettier pot, more suitable to her lovely personality, and growing needs. Because of her "special" needs, and the fact my husband complains about how needy she is on a daily basis, one of them needs to find a new home. Apparently rehoming husbands is frowned upon, so with no other choice, sadly, Matilda is up for adoption at a discount. Normally $65, she is on sale for $35. If you have room in your home for a lovely 10 inch Peace Lilly with just a little flare for the dramatic, please come get her and give her a home where she will be her most beautiful dramatic self. 🪴😁

Even now, the footage stops me in my tracks and brings tears to my eyes. It still doesn't feel real.

Today feels heavy.

Today we hold all the families who lost loved ones close to our hearts. The families are in our thoughts and we wish you all peace and love.

We don’t share details out of respect for families, but sometimes the meaning behind an arrangement needs to be acknowledged.

This basket was made for a grandmother grieving her beautiful granddaughter. It’s one of the hardest parts of this job, one of the hardest calls to take, and also the most important — to create something beautiful when a family needs it most.

It’s been pretty quiet in here lately… so I’ve had time to play. And by “play,” I mean design these silk beauties that’ll stay gorgeous through wind, rain, and whatever New England throws at them.
