I create unique pieces that reflect your individuality using repurposed materials to reflect how we are all a culmination of all our experiences, thoughts, passions, and ideas, that we transform into something uniquely our own. Basic Elements was born the week my daughter was born in November, 2015. I also had a stack of pallets and a shed full of old barn siding that were beckoning me. I quickly
discovered that I could keep my other two sons occupied with me in the garage while my wife and new baby tried to catch up on sleep. The boys and I disassembled pallets and reassembled them into whatever our imaginations could create. I was soon building pieces for friends and family as Christmas gifts and discovered I had a knack for designing art and functional pieces with reclaimed materials. I get excited each time I get to take a piece of wood that most would consider firewood, and create a piece that is both beautiful and functional. This exact story has played out in my life, where I have been repurposed into something that is better than I was previously.
