Did you also watch Monsters: The Lizzie Borden Story? Pretty sure this piece I made a few weeks ago would fit right into the impeccable Victorian aesthetic 💅🏼

Anyway, having visited the home and lied in the spot the mother was killed, I knew from the first 2 minutes when she was bludgeoned on the wrong side of the bed that the historical inaccuracies and artistic liberties would be PLENTIFUL. Not that plenty of her life won't remain speculation forever, but it's an interesting choice to jump right in by changing even the few verifiable details.

And if you like axes, especially rhinestoned, I will be performing a Lizzie-inspired number on 10/10 -- an idea conceived last January and saved for spooky season, not inspired by the series! Tickets: https://www.kimburly.com/event-details/kbtt-october-the-boo-bie-tour

"Women belong in all the places where decisions are being made" is attributed to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who we sadly lost on this day in 2020 after a lifetime of fierce advocacy for women's rights and equality. We can carry on her legacy in our endurance, perseverance, and.... maybe our decor 🙂 STAY INSPIRED!

Unfortunately, today’s event in Shrewsbury was cancelled - and if you look out the window at the rain, I’m sure you’ll understand why! But we already have a 2027 date for Art In the Park - Sept 11th!

But we were granted a beautiful day yesterday and had an amazing time at Worcester Pride! Huge special thanks to my MVP helpers: Crystal, Amy, Katie, Flavia in spirit, and notable mention Kim. I loved seeing so many familiar faces, and we also had the pleasure of vending next to my second home, Worcester Dance. And as always, impeccable vibes throughout the whole day with my favorite community 💙

You can catch me out and about again in the first weekend of December!

Yesterday was Women's Equality Day, marking the 106th anniversary of the certification of the 19th Amendment, which guaranteed American women the right to vote. Of course, FB planner only told me it was National Dog Day. These minis will be available at my upcoming shows (although I might keep the first one for myself 🥰). Celebrate your favorite F-word! 🙌🏻
