Running the Tunnels2Towers race in New York alongside 45,000 people was an incredibly emotional experience. This was the third year that some of us have made the journey to run, and somehow, each year feels just as powerful and emotional as the last.
Being surrounded by so many people; fire fighters, wounded veterans, and all walks of life coming together to honor, remember, and support others is something that’s hard to put into words; even if it was in a nor’easter storm. Every step carries meaning, and every year reminds us why we keep coming back.
