New Life Thrift Store is a non-profit Christ-Centered organization whose mission is to raise money to be gifted to our students at the five South Suburban Christian Schools: Byron Center Christian, Dutton Christian, Legacy Christian, Moline Christian and South Christian High School therein reducing the cost of a Christ-Centered education for generations to come!

Right now, EVERYTHING in our Book Department is just 25¢! This week only!

Hardcovers, paperbacks, mysteries, cookbooks, devotionals, and more… all for a quarter! 🤯

And before anyone panics about empty shelves, don't worry. The Book Humans™️ are locked and loaded. 📦📚 (See photographic evidence below 👇)

They've already got crates and crates ready to go, making sure the shelves won't stay empty for long. In fact, once this sale wraps up, they're doing a complete overhaul of the department; reorganizing, refreshing, and bringing out loads of new to you books!

🚨 Please. Stop. Leaving Donations Outside. 🚨

We know we sound like a broken record, but we'll keep repeating ourselves until our property is treated with the same respect we show our community.

Our doors and windows clearly state that after hours drop offs are not permitted, yet once again, items have been left outside while we're closed. With rain in the forecast, much of it will be ruined and headed straight to the dumpster, not to families in need.

This isn't just frustrating. The city has already notified us about the amount of debris accumulating outside, and continued violations could result in fines. That's money that should be going toward our mission, not cleaning up messes left behind.

Donating should help the community, not create more trash, more work, and more expense.

If you value New Life Thrift Store and the work we do, please respect our donation hours and share this reminder with others. We are grateful for every donation, but good intentions don't outweigh the consequences of ignoring the signs.

We're incredibly proud of our community for helping keep the New Life Thrift Store food pantry stocked and available to the public since November 2025.

Because of your generosity, whether through food donations, financial support, or simply spreading the word, we've been able to provide assistance to neighbors in need right here in our community!!

This pantry is a reminder that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. We're so thankful for everyone who has contributed and for the opportunity to serve our community in this way!
