Thankful for my tribe.

This weekend by way of the Bullis clan (Kelly Lynn and Kevin Bullis)
Who have an amazing field in their back yard…. Legit!

We played in the Summer Smash wiffle ball tournament and had a great time.

As a father, there is not much more that gives me pause for appreciation then spending time doing things together and finding joy in those opportunities. Saturday was surely one of those moments.
Maybe even hit a little harder after the way the summer started and where we are two months to the day post Braxtons accident.

Slowings down enjoying these sweet moments and opportunities the Lord is giving me.

Thankful Thursday.

Awesome moment today when Braxton was able to ditch his sling Summit Orthopedics.
He’s been given the full ROM go ahead for his shoulder.
Yeah!!
Still no contact sports, wheels, or weights… but to see him out of the sling after 6 weeks gives Sarah Thompson Dickey and I all the feels.

Following our ortho appointment we went to Gillette Children’s and met with the NeuroTrauma team for head trauma and concussion clearance. They are lock step with ortho and he can start increasing his physical activity while keeping symptoms in check.

So thankful today.
God blessing and story on Braxton is just amazing and keeps me awestruck.

Keep praying friends.
Keep loving
And keep on sharing his story.
True miracles can and do happen.

Thankful to the Lord for the gift of my bride Sarah Thompson Dickey and the drive she has to push and encourage me.

Celebrating freedom and our nations anniversary with a little 1776/250 workout variation.

As Braxton continues to heal I treasure these brief moments in the garage. Around the house, in the yard, in the neighborhood, just being together. Growing stronger together through every storm.

Braxton Update.
Monday June 15th, 2026

Wow.
Sunday was a day filled with worship and joy.
Today’s post will be unpacking a few things I have witnessed.

Looking back at Tuesday morning and just thankful for where we are today.

Friends regardless of your belief or not. You have all been part of an amazing story and we are so thankful for each and everyone of you.
The one truth in it all is that the same God that has healed Braxton and placed you all in his life to pray over him, to love on him, to send our family joy and kindness. That same God loves you so much.

The morning at church was so great to be surrounded by a community of people that are nothing short of Christ image bearers on earth. The Community Church thank you, thank you, thank you.
Walking in the doors feeling your love was a relief.
Then to join in worship together filled me to a level unknown.
Watching and listening to Sarah Thompson Dickey lead “Make Room” was something that took my breath away. Honey your love for your boy was felt and you did such a great job honoring the Lord with you voice and gift. Wow!
Heart full.

Then coming home for an afternoon with our tribe and extended tribe, watching the UFC freedom 250 fights and grubbing on the steaks we had intended for the BWCA.
You see Sunday was not supposed to be the way. We were supposed to be up on Lake Alice. But somehow the Lord knew we needed Sunday to worship and gather.

And to boot Brayden Dickey was able to even out Braxtons tough looking hair due.

My biggest takeaway from yesterday was Love and peace. Breath. Be patient. Use my voice and breath to honor Him and slow down enough to see the moments that will take my breathe away.

Such a great weekend at the Jack Pine Savage Wrestling, Hayden Zillmer cook and catch camp this weekend.

The boys bullt some new skills and some new friendships in the MNwrestle community.

Thankful for all the coaches that instilled these energetic wrestlers with a full weekend.

Also thankful to catch my PR WALLEYE at over 27 1/2 “
‘‘Twas a blast.

Will be back next year for more all out goodness with these guys.

Forest Lake Youth Wrestling Club represented as well.

Eventful night.
Thankful to my tracking dog Shawn Morley, Brycen Morley and Jordan Thompson. Help track down my second deer with a bow.

Thankful to the Lord for putting meat in the freezer tonight.
