Woohoo! Fall is happening :) And the scent of fresh bread is in the air!

Fresh, fun finds?! Mt. Hood Organic Farms red comice pears, Yakama Nation pie pumpkins, Columbia Gorge Jonagold apples, frissee, bay leaves right in time for soup weather and Nottinghamshire Farms bi-color corn for a start!

Apples (Cosmic Crisp, Cripps Pink, Jonagold), bananas, Sweet Hearts seedless red grapes, Keitt mango, red comice pears, nectarines (perfectly ripe!), lemons, limes, lemon juice, lime juice, mini seedless watermelon...

Basil, bay leaves, dill, cilantro, parsley...

Can you believe it is already the 3rd Wednesday of the month and time for our favorite night?! Every month is an adventure and tonight is no exception!

It's a RAMEN BAR!!! Vegetarian ramen broth with LOTS of adders, including char siu pork, tofu, eggs, nearly all the vegetables you can think of, and more, with salad, dessert and some fun surprises, too.

When: Wednesday, September 16, 2026, 6 pm
Where: Our Savior Lutheran Church, 38 Bayview Rd, Waldport OR (on the east side of Highway 101, just over the bridge)

Quick and easy weeknight dinner idea! I am not quite sure what to call it, though! 🤣

Savory onion and mushroom noodles with meatballs? Lol you decide!

*Meatballs (or "meat"balls), butter, sweet onion, crimini mushrooms, pepper of choice (serrano, jalapeno, cherry bomb, etc), flour, sea salt, black pepper, *Better than Bouillion vegetable broth (or Simply Organic mushroom sauce if you happened to be out of bouillion 😉), noodles of choice

Green salad with apple vinaigrette (apple c***r vinegar, honey, dijon mustard, neutral oil, sea salt, black pepper, lemon juice): romaine, cucumber, radish, cherry tomatoes

Throw together finish?! All the Spices cake: *eggs, brown sugar, *buttermilk, neutral oil, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, ground cloves, nutmeg, sea salt, baking powder, flour

Dinner win! This is a bit of a retreat with variation as I am asked for it a *lot* :)

Broccoli-red pepper rice casserole: broccoli, red pepper, brown jasmine rice, cream of mushroom soup (mushrooms, butter, salt, pepper, flour, alternative or *dairy milk), sea salt, black pepper, cheese of choice

Green salad with honey mustard

Cottage cheese (now in store!), seasoned salt

Easy peasy :)

It doesn't get much easier than ravioli! Perfect with Jolie Laide's sourdough for sopping up sauce :)

*Spinach ricotta ravioli (or make it from scratch!)

Pomodoro sauce: tomatoes, garlic, fresh basil, sea salt, black pepper, olive oil

When all the big kids are away, the youngest gets to pick dinner and it was waffles (as evidenced by the waffle smile built by Eddie haha)!

Waffles: flour, cornstarch, evaporated cane juice crystals, baking powder, baking soda, sea salt, *buttermilk (or alternative milk and vinegar), *eggs, butter, vanilla

With maple syrup, brown sugar, peanut butter, butter, applesauce, nuts, peaches - lots of topping options in store :)

Saturdays are cooking and prep days at our house, so I just happened to have made fresh tomato pomodoro to make this retro dinner idea a perfect fit!

Stuffed peppers: red and green bell peppers; brown jasmine rice; *meat or meat alternative such as vegan sausage, ground beef or crispy fried tofu; red onion; garlic; pomodoro; olive oil; sea salt; black pepper; cheese of choice

Mashed potatoes: red potatoes, russet potatoes, butter, sea salt

Green salad: lettuce, radishes, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, red onion, sunflower seeds, honey mustard dressing

Woohoo! It's produce day and we are so excited to have sourdough from Jolie Laide in again this morning (plain *and* pumpkin!) to go along with Oregon tomatoes, mushrooms, greens, peppers and more!

I nearly forgot to take a picture for tonight's dinner idea, so....pardon our dust (aka ground black pepper) 😁 With a little advance prep of the vegetables, this came together in about 20 minutes give or take - perfect for a cool, damp day!

Tuna patties: tuna, breadcrumbs or panko, *eggs, shredded parmesan cheese, lemon juice, fresh dill, sweet onion, sea salt, black pepper

Chile-lime vegetables: broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, jalapeno, butter, garlic, lime zest, lime juice, sea salt

Corn: bi-color corn, butter

Mashed potatoes: yellow potatoes, butter, sea salt
