There’s two Russell Ridge work parties coming up on July 17th and 19th. We’re leading the charge to whip the trail back into shape and thanks to everyone at the last work party, the lower section is riding better than has in years….go take a lap! Join us Saturday, May 2nd at 10am as the Salmon Bike Ride hosted by Save Our Wild Salmon kicks off Wildlife Day on the Greenway! This guided bike tour follows the life cycle of a salmon along the Yakima Greenway, combining recreation, education, and the river corridor that makes it all possible.

After the ride, head into the Visitor Center to explore hands-on wildlife displays featuring animal skulls, fur pelts, live lampreys, and more, plus a family-friendly scavenger hunt and a custom wildlife t-shirt making station. We hope to see everyone out on the Greenway for a fun and educational day along the river!
