Today is the day! ❤️

Friday, July 31, from 2:00–6:00 PM is our last day open as a retail storefront.

If you’ve been meaning to stop by one last time, we’d love to see you. Take one final stroll through the store, browse what’s left, and help us close out this chapter of The Dam Market.

But we’re not done yet…

Starting in August, we’re thinking about opening the upstairs for an indoor market! It would be a great option for vendors and shoppers alike—with air conditioning, no worrying about the weather, and a comfortable place to shop year-round.

With The Dam Market transitioning away from our regular storefront hours, this Saturday marks the last currently scheduled market day for The Bearded Baker—and honestly, it feels a little bittersweet seeing our regular market lineup start to change. ❤️

We’re so grateful for all the incredible cottage vendors who have helped make The Dam Market what it is, and we’re excited to keep creating opportunities for vendors to pop up, sell their goods, and connect with the community through future markets and events.

So come see us this Saturday, support a local baker, and enjoy one of the last market days with us! 🥖🛍️

💙 A New Chapter for The Dam Market 💙

We wanted to share an update on the future of The Dam Market!

We’ve decided to close the market as a staffed storefront and retail store. While the storefront model is coming to an end, we’re excited to keep the market concept alive in a way that makes sense for the future.

We have been incredibly lucky to work with so many talented vendors, bakers, artists, and small business owners. The creativity and talent that filled this space is what made The Dam Market what it was, and we are so grateful to everyone who brought their products, ideas, and businesses through our doors.

Moving forward, we’d love to continue hosting regular indoor markets and pop-ups if there is enough interest from vendors and shoppers. We will also be offering the space for hourly and daily rentals while we look for the right tenants to make the space their own.

We’re excited to see what’s next for the building and, honestly, excited to see someone else take the space and make it their own. There is so much potential here, and we can’t wait to see what the next chapter looks like.

Thank you to every vendor who helped bring The Dam Market to life and to everyone who stopped in, shopped local, shared our posts, and supported the concept. We appreciate you more than you know!

Here’s to the next chapter — and hopefully, plenty more markets to come. 💙
