A few months ago I sent out a survey and found a lot of interest in printable products.

Something crazy happened this week...
I share my journals on Etsy and Amazon, though I haven't been focusing on Amazon lately for a number of reasons. Well, I logged in to my sales dashboard this week and found that one person had purchased 273 copies of my summer journal!

Unfortunately, I have no way to find out who purchased them or what they are doing with 273 copies, but wow! I'm so excited to know that 273 kids are going to be journaling and creating a keepsake of their summer. As a small business owner, it's so humbling to know that I can inspire kids to practice gratitude and connect with their feelings in a small way. I never take this for granted.

I’m sharing the above quote because it inspires me and I hope to inspire you too. I've noticed recently that a lot of negativity has surrounded me and it really wears on me.

Can you relate?

Practicing gratitude is such a simple habit, with long-lasting results.

Don't get me wrong, things are hard and I don't believe in toxic positivity, but there are a few rules I try to live by that have really helped me be a more positive and grateful person.

- Always assume people are doing their best.

- Never assume you know what is going on in someone's life.

- Write down 3 things you are grateful for every day.

My hope is that sharing this today will inspire you to take a moment out of your busy day to find a few things to be grateful for. if you haven't already started a gratitude habit for yourself and your family, now is a great time!

I'm not a huge fan of Valentine's Day, but what I do love is the chance to remind our kids of how much they are loved.

You may have seen this idea on social media the last few years, but if you're like me, February 1st will arrive and you may be totally unprepared. So, I'm sending a reminder because Wednesday is February already!

Every February I leave positive messages for my kids telling them all the things I love about them. They look forward to it every year and even started leaving me notes a few years ago!

I usually start leaving notes on their bedroom door on February 1st and continue through Valentine's Day, but of course, there are no rules. You do what works best for you!

As you might know, I've been doing a lot of holiday craft fairs lately.

I love being able to share my message face-to-face and I’m feeling very proud and humbled as I think about kids opening up gifts that I created on Christmas morning!

One of my big sellers was a new product I created called "Think Inside the Box."

My kids love subscription boxes. It's so fun to open the box and find fun surprises inside. But...I don't love the recurring payments and the challenge of trying to cancel. Can you relate?
