John 16:5-15
"But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and some of you ask Me, 'Where are You going?' But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgement, because the ruler of this world is judged. I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.

Friends, the ruler of this world is Satan. Don’t let him deceive you. Follow Christ and let the Holy Spirit guide you in all righteousness. Christ is our example!😘

Proverbs 15:1&2, 31-33
A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.

The ear that hears the rebukes of life will abide among the wise. He who disdains instruction despises his own soul. But he who heeds rebuke gets understanding. The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility.

Friends, we live in a world of foolishness. How we respond speaks volumes about who we are. God's word tells us a soft answer turns away wrath. It also tells us to heed instruction. We have a tendency to rebuke criticism. It's our nature. Let the Holy Spirit within you react. Keep guard over your tongue. If you are in constant dispute with others, you may need to look within. Be an encourager!😘

Philippians 3:17-21
Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

Friends, always walk as one whose citizenship is in heaven. Walk as one who is eagerly awaiting the return of Christ. Walk as one whose end is glorious. Stand firm in your walk with Christ!😘

Matthew 13:44-46
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he found one Pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

Friends, the kingdom of heaven is the most valuable possession we can have and yet we pay nothing for it. The price is more valuable than we can ever be able to pay. It is a free gift that was offered to us upon the cross. The greatest sacrifice ever made and the greatest gift ever received. We are not worthy but He gives it anyway. Blessed Redeemer!😘

Psalm 63:1-8
O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory. Because Your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips. When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches. Because Your loving kindness have been my help, therefore in the shadows of Your wings I will rejoice. My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me.

Friends, I pray the Lord will give me a heart like David. He worshipped God with his whole being. Lord, Give us a heart like David!!😘

Hebrews 4:14-16
Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Friends, our Savior has dwelt among us. He has endured the same temptations and problems that we have. He endured and was without sin. He was able and willing to go to the cross and bear our sins. He is our precious Savior!😘

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good. A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. A fool despises his father’s instruction, but he who receives correction is prudent. In the house of the righteous there is much treasure, but in the revenue of the wicked is trouble.

Friends, watching what we say and how we react to others is essential in our walk with Christ. We have the tendency to lash out in anger. Be mindful of your words to others. Scripture tells us to guard our hearts AND our tongues!😘

Colossians 2:6-15
As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. And you being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Friends, don’t get caught up in philosophy or false teachings, you are complete in Christ. He has redeemed me with His own precious blood and now I belong to Him. He has triumphed over all! I will put my faith in Him alone!😘

Ecclesiastes 5:1-5
Walk prudently when you go to the house of God; and draw near to hear rather than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil. Do not be rash with your mouth, and let not your heart utter anything hastily before God. For God is in heaven, and you on earth; therefore let your words be few. For a dream comes through much activity, and a fool’s voice is known by his many words. When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it; for He has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you have vowed—better not to vow than to vow and not pay.

Friends, let your yes be yes and your no be no. Your character will follow you all the days of your life. Let it be pleasing to God.😘

Matthew 18:10-14
“Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven. For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost. What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety nine that did not go astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

Friends, once we become His, we are never lost. He always finds us and brings us back into the fold. Like a shepherd guarding his sheep, Christ is always watching out for us. Rest in this assurance.😘
