Muramatsu Gold Clad Flute #22527, B foot w/gizmo, Open Hole, Pointed Key Arms, Rolled Tone Homes. Comes with Burkart Silver Headjoint.

This lovely flute has a warmth, glow and power that create a beautiful sound – without doubt this comes from the combination of metals: gold fused with the silver beneath. An excellent match with the Silver Burkart Headjoint that the prior owner paired it with. There is quick articulation, sweet responsiveness, richness, great projection, a huge dynamic range, and a great palette of colors.

The provenance of this flute is important: it was originally hand-selected in Japan by James Pellerite for his use as former Principal Flute of the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Just serviced by Your Flute Works, comes with a sixth month warranty on the COA. The pads are in good, used condition, which won’t need to be changed for years to come.

Muramatsu Flute # 96090 was recently purchased by a flutist in April 2026. Unfortunately, it’s come to my attention that the flute dealer has not done his due diligence to pay the consigner. In other words, my friend has had no luck getting a response from the dealer for the thousands of dollars they are owed.

David C. Williams Silver Head Joint #24 for sale
Williams Silver Head #24 has a warm, direct and clear tonal palette. Made by flutemaker David Williams and named after Gary Schocker – the flutist to whose demanding specifications it was created, – it combines the solid warmth of Williams head joints with the delicate nuance of Schocker’s Vintage Haynes- influenced aesthetic.

When we put it on one of the flutes in our inventory, it nearly doubled the volume, power and projection. Without having to work twice as hard, the solid core was present, with a quick articulation and good dynamic range.

William S. Haynes Piccolo #46788 for sale!

Made in 1981, this warm, flexible, and free-blowing piccolo has a strong core to the colorful tonal palette. Third register speaks easily at pp. Though built as A=440, easily works well at A=442.

Played extensively by pit musician / doubler on Broadway and for Radio City shows. It is in excellent condition with no dings, dents or scratches. The pads are in good, used condition.

This flute has a luminous warmth at the core of the sound, and an excellent tonal palette. With the capacity to taper notes to nothingness, while creating a stirring fortissimo, the dynamic range is quite pronounced. Beautifully cared for by its sole owner (now in retirement), it was played for decades in their busy flute studio and in their work as an active freelancer in the NYC Metro area.
The Straubinger Pads are in good, used condition and won’t need to be changed for years to come. The tarnish, visible mostly on the mechanism tubing, is superficial and has caused no pitting.
In excellent condition, with no dings, dents or scratches.
