The rain was not our friend last night. It snapped another branch on our peach tree.
We spent the morning picking the rest of the peaches.Honestly we’ve never seen anything like this!! The peaches were in clusters and the buckets had to total close to 60 # not to mention the ones I picked yesterday!! No wonder why the branches were cracking.
Not to worry we’ve added branch crutches to hold the limbs up and I will tape the@ back together. I have done this several times in different situations and it works!!

This year we kept the squirrels out of our peach tree. The problem now was that the tree was so heavy with peaches that the branches started to crack!
I’ve lighten the load to keep the branches safe but we still have another 2/3 to pick!!
Holy smokes that’s a lot of peaches 🍑
