TODAY IS MAKE MUSIC DAY!

What is Make Music Day?
Make Music Day is an annual celebration that occurs each June 21, when people in more than 1,000 cities worldwide make music together on the summer solstice.

In York County, Pennsylvania, Make Music Day has been celebrated by Menchey Music for many years, and in 2022, Menchey teamed up with the York County Cultural Alliance to push this even out to reach more of the County. Now, Make Music Day is a large, collaborative celebration with a hub of activity in Downtown York, and additional events being hosted in libraries and other locations around town.

Did you pick up a Royal Square Passport Game Card last Sunday at the Outdoor Market? You can still get it stamped at participating merchants this weekend (and through June 30)!

If you missed out on this month’s Passport Game Card, don’t worry, you can pick one up at the next Second Sunday on King Outdoor Market on July 12!

Come play the Royal Square Passport Game today! It’s free to play!

The game cards are given out at the Second Sundays on King Outdoor Markets through November. Bring your game card into a participating business to get stamped, there is no purchase necessary to get a stamp on it.

You only need six stamps to be qualified to enter and do not have to complete the cards today. You have until June 30 to complete and drop this month’s card off to the Glass Turtle Studio to be entered in the drawing for the gift basket in the image.

June’s gift basket has a total value of over $150, all from Royal Square merchants.

There will be a new passport card & prize basket at each outdoor market every month!
